CITIZENSHIP LANCASTER is a free, weekly class that prepares legal permanent residents and refugees for the U.S. citizenship exam and interview.

As of October 2011, the class has helped 35 students become new U.S. citizens.

All students receive a free welcome packet filled with study guides and class information.

New students can start attending class at any time.

CITIZENSHIP LANCASTER classes meet on Monday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Windolph Room on the second floor of the Lancaster Public Library (125 North Duke Street).

The class is open enrollment, and students can start attending at any time. However, the class is designed to help students who have been assigned an exam/interview date, have applied for U.S. citizenship, or are qualified to apply for citizenship and are in the process of filling out their N-400 application.

To find out if you are qualified for U.S. Citizenship, review the Path to Citizenship checklist at the USCIS website.
